Baseball/Softball will be an instructional program
integrating practices with actual games. All
The boys and girls will be learning the fundamentals of baseball and softball. This will give every child the chance to not only learn what will be expected of them in the future, but also to sharpen their skills. Teams are randomly assigned with each team having players who specify that they are pitcher and/or catchers. This program is offered to children ages 9-10 for the minor leagues and 11-14 for the major leagues.
T-ball and Lob ball will be programs that start the fundamentals and that will be built upon in the older leagues. Here, the main focus will be on the children learning the basics of baseball and softball. T-ball and Lob ball will meet twice a week with one meeting being a practice and the other meeting being a game that coaches will run. This program is offered to children ages 4-6 for T-ball and 7-8 for Lob ball.
